British horror director Rob Savage's latest film The Boogeyman, was a horror-thriller made with 21 Laps (Stranger Things) from the mind of best-selling author Stephen King. Rob garnered serious acclaim with his previous works, notably the lockdown horror film Host (2020) which he followed up with the found footage madness of Dashcam (2021). His debut feature Strings made at the age of 18, earned him a BIFA award. Rob will delve into his unique approach to crafting horror films, low budget production & studio filmmaking.
On the night we'll be showing Rob's short films including Salt starring Alice Lowe, Dawn of the Deaf, and the viral short that served as the inspiration for his groundbreaking lockdown zoom horror Host.
